MEET OUR FOUNDER
EMILY ROCKWELL, RN, MSN, NP-C
As a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, Emily Rockwell (BS Nursing – UVA, MS Nursing - U. Penn), has made a career out of helping others heal. But it was her own physical pain that drove her to create her practice. Since high school, Emily had suffered from TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Disorders) and headaches. Unable to find relief and frustrated with conventional treatments like physical therapy, dental appliances, massage, and steroid injections, Emily began to research additional options. Working with her father, Dr. G. William Keller, a Periodontist and Implantologist for 30 years, Emily found her solution with Botox. In 2015, her and her father attended a course which provided a unique outlook on TMJ's assessment and management and facial pain with Botox. Once Emily received the Botox injections, she felt a dramatic decline in her physical pain.
Wanting to help others who suffer from chronic pain, she worked in an Oculofacial Plastic Surgery office, where she learned how to administer Botox and Fillers while continuing to train in how to provide TMJ pain management to patients. A year later, with her father's encouragement, she created The Montchanin Center for Facial Aesthetics in 2017, to help people feel better through both therapeutic and aesthetic treatments.
Emily follows the example of Dr. Zein Obagi, the world-renowned Cosmetic Dermatologist who, for more than 35 years, has pioneered advanced skincare solutions. Obagi's research is focused on correcting and repairing skin at the cellular level. Through her trainings with Dr. Obagi, Emily established her business's core philosophy - skin treatments shouldn’t simply provide a quick fix or a cover up. Instead, the goal is to promote long-term, sustainable skin health. With this, she rebranded her business (Emily Rockwell Skin Clinic) where each patient's treatment plan is based on achieving healthy skin, first.
Through her continuous hands-on training with Dr. Obagi, as well as other renowned plastic surgeons, dermatologists, dentists, nurse practitioners, and nurse injectors, she has created a results-driven practice.
MEET THE TEAM
KELSEY THROPP, RN
NURSE INJECTOR + LASER SPECIALIST
Kelsey is originally from Pennsylvania, where she attended Penn State University, majoring in the health sciences. She pursued further education at West Chester University, completing an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her nursing career began in critical care, where she advanced her skills for nearly three years before transitioning to the field of aesthetics.
Kelsey enjoys building relationships with patients and tailoring comprehensive treatment plans to address their skin concerns. Her focus extends from Botox and Microneedling with PRP to cutting-edge laser technologies, such as BroadBand Light (BBL) and Moxi. As a ZO Skin Health specialist, Kelsey creates individualized skincare regimens that enhance treatment outcomes.
Kelsey’s dedication to personalized care and helping patients achieve optimal results shines through in every aspect of her work. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys traveling, spending time with family + friends, and trying new Philly restaurants.
SHANNON TOWNSEND
PATIENT CONCIERGE
Shannon joined the team in June 2022 as Patient Concierge. Serving in the medical field for the past ten years, Shannon has a deep passion for assisting and meeting the needs of others. She is inspired by the challenge of setting the tone for a unique and pleasant experience.
Shannon developed an interest in aesthetics early this year. Seeing the importance of developing self-confidence and an inner glow has been both relatable and intriguing to Shannon. She's inspired by seeing the results our patients achieve with a tailored, medical-grade skincare regimen. Shannon has loved learning about the ZO Skin Health line and its benefits while working alongside our dedicated team.
BROOKE MORRIS MARKETING MANAGER
Brooke joined the ERSC team in 2024 as the Marketing Manager. She comes with over 7 years of experience in Marketing and Digital Media. Brooke graduated from Neumann University with a Bachelors Degree in Broadcast and Digital Media. Before coming to ERSC, she grew her skills in various roles in the beauty and lifestyle industry. Her expertise is creating engaging and educational social content.
When Brooke isn’t working you will find her poolside in the summer and hanging with her dogs. She enjoys creating her own content for fun and is a major foodie!

AMBER BUCHANAN PATIENT CONCIERGE
Amber joined the ERSC team in March 2025 as Patient Concierge. She is a passionate cosmetologist who grew up in Delaware, with a deep love for helping people look and feel their best. After completing her training at Paul Mitchell, she spent six years honing her skills in hair styling, where she discovered her true passion for skin care. With over 10 years of experience in customer service, she prides herself on providing a personalized and positive experience for every patient.
Outside of her professional life, Amber loves spending time outdoors, especially taking her dog on long walks, and she's a fan of unwinding with a good movie.
Amber's goal is to make every patient feel welcomed, relaxed, and confident at the clinic.
STEPHANIE ARTINO MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Stephanie joined the ERSC team with a strong background in the dental field and a passion for helping patients look and feel their best. As the nurse injector assistant, she's dedicated to creating a calm, organized, and positive treatment experience while supporting both patients and providers throughout every step of their visit.
When she's not in the clinic, you can find Stephanie grabbing coffee from her favorite spots, traveling with her family, and enjoying life!

With over 20 years of experience in the aesthetics industry, Cindy Kopylec is a highly skilled, results-driven licensed esthetician known for her thoughtful, client-centered approach to skin health. Her background spans luxury spa, education, and medical settings, blending advanced clinical knowledge with an elevated, nurturing experience.
Cindy specializes in customized corrective skincare, anti-aging treatments, advanced facial therapies, and pre- and post-procedure skin preparation. Her expertise includes dermaplaning, chemical exfoliation, advanced facial massage, and medical-grade skincare protocols—always tailored for optimal skin function and long-term results.
Passionate about education, Cindy believes transformative results come from the partnership between in-office treatments and personalized homecare. Known for her calm presence, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to build lasting client relationships, she brings both expertise and intention to every treatment.
